Unfaithful yet a Success!!!!

ok, so i get an award for the most unfaithful Blogger of 2012? lol.  First half of 2012 has been a very interesting, painful, fantastic, year for me. Emotionally, I've been on a roller coaster, and just didn't feel up to sharing my thoughts and rambles. But I've realized life really is beautiful even when it doesn't feel like it. A classmate of mine lost her mum recently and I kinda felt her pain and it woke me up. Made me realize when God said in Revelation (thats a book in the bible,lol) that '...to him that overcomes....' it's because at each phase you are, there's always something you need to overcome. A habit? Lack of job or zero job satisfaction? Loneliness? Feeling of rejection? No money? Grief? Some form of personal desire that just seem unattainable? We live in a world full of potential overcomers

So I asked myself, where do i want to start from? What exactly do i want from life?  The answer? It was pretty simple. I want to be successful. lol. That's quite Bogus, right? What exactly do i mean by 'Success'? I want to have more money? To be wealthy? Stupendously rich? --The answer was YES!!!! Most definitely YES!!! But also not exactly. 

Success for me is Joy, Its love, Its freedom, its waking up in the morning and excited about life. So excited that you are practically and excitedly flying out of the door every morning because you cant wait for the day to start. And on days when you are not excited, you are quietly assured that God's got your back!

Success isn't fame or power. Its getting to work with people you love, doing what you love, connecting with the world, adding value to lives of those around you in whatever way you can, its finding a way to make an impact in a world beyond your immediate family. It's freedom, Its friendship, its looking beyond prosperity into posterity.

Success isn't just one thing, its a whole enchilada of things that  includes God, family, work, and others.  If you are successful in one area and lacking in the rest, that's not good success.
